What is required to earn CMA certification?
1. Membership in IMA.
2. A bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university. Please reference the Education Qualification Section of the CMA Handbook.
3. Two continuous years of professional experience in management accounting or financial management.
4. Passing Parts 1 and 2 of the CMA exam.

The CMA exam is organized into two parts, which can be taken in any order. Each exam part is four hours in length and includes 100 multiple-choice questions and two 30-minute essay questions.
